The 411:

1. Select the design that you like. If you don’t see anything that suits your needs, maybe a custom design is the right thing for you! Please see our custom design information here.

2. Use the Order Request Form to place your order.

3. We will contact you via email (from oinkandpaper@gmail.com) in order to verify your design choice and request that you send us any photos to be included in your design.

4. You will need to send us:

Your high quality photos that you would like used in your design including specific instructions on any minor editing, cropping, or color changes that you would like to have done. If your design contains multiple photos, please specify where in the design you would like each photo to be placed. (Please see our photo information section here.)

The specific text to be used in your card.

Instructions on any minor changes to the card design. For example, font type and color can be changed. For a list of additional fonts please see our list here. Note: Major design changes may result in your project becoming a custom design. If this is this case, custom design pricing will apply. We will notify you of this up front, so there are no “surprises” when it comes time for payment.

5. Once we receive your files and instructions we will create your design, and email you your initial proof within 2-3 business days. (Custom designs may take longer.) You will have an opportunity to review your initial proof and contact us with any desired changes.

6. We will apply the changes you’ve requested and email you a final proof and invoice. If you’re happy with the final proof, and we're sure you will be, then you can pay us using Paypal. See our Pricing page for pricing details.

7. Once we have received payment, we will email you your high-resolution file in JPG format so that you can have it printed at your local photo lab. If we are printing your cards for you, we will send them to our photo lab and then mail them to you within 3-4 business days.

 

Photo information and requirements:

Color images can be converted to black and white or sepia tone at no additional charge. Minor editing and cropping is also included at no additional charge. Please be very specific when sending your photos in regards to what you would like done to them. Ultimately, the quality of the final product will depend on the quality of your digital photo. Please do not resize your photo before sending, as this may compromise print quality.

Getting good results from your local photo lab:

All of our designs are created using the sRGB color space. sRGB is the industry standard for digital images, photo lab printing and the Internet. There will be slight variations in color between photo labs and the various types of printing equipment. Often, photo labs will apply an “auto-correction” to your prints. You most likely will get better results if you request that the automatic color correction be turned off when printing our designs. We strongly suggest sending a test print to your photo lab before printing multiple copies of your card.
